Peeking Under the Hood

Each model in the 2025 Pathfinder lineup comes equipped with a 3.5-liter 24-valve six-cylinder DOHC engine, producing 284 horsepower and 259 lb.-ft. of torque. The base model has front-wheel drive, but you can opt for four-wheel drive on any of the lineup’s trims. Every new Pathfinder also includes a nine-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift control, allowing drivers to seamlessly shift gears without using the clutch.

With its independent multi-link rear suspension, independent strut front suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, speed-sensitive steering, and brake-actuated limited-slip differential, the newest Pathfinder is a versatile SUV with a harmonious blend of refined road manners, enhanced off-roading capabilities, and ample safety.

Viewing the Cabin

Although it’s classified as a mid-sized SUV, the coming year’s Pathfinder boasts an ergonomic and spacious cabin that rivals even the largest SUVs. With space for eight people, the Pathfinder features six-way-adjustable front bucket seats and two 60/40-split benches in the second and third rows. All seats are trimmed in cozy cloth, and the cabin has a tri-zone automatic climate-control system and deep window tint for keeping all eight occupants comfortable on long journeys.

The Pathfinder’s clever cabin layout provides over 16 cubic feet of storage space, which you can expand by folding down the second and/or third rows of seating. Passengers are provided with over 148 cubic feet of space, ensuring plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

Onboard Technology

The standard welcome lighting illuminates your entry into your Pathfinder’s cabin, and higher trims offer ambient mood lighting. The base model’s cabin is equipped with six surrounding speakers, while upgraded models include 13 Bose speakers. Every cabin is fitted with voice-recognition software, allowing you to control your cabin’s climate and connectivity without taking your hands off the wheel.

The base model offers premium technology features such as Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, and a collision-prevention system for the front and rear of the Pathfinder. Upper trims offer Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Lane Intervention, and a 360-degree Intelligent Around View Monitor.
